This is without exception the best decaf espresso I’ve ever tried. Rich, dark, smooth with just the right amount of almost burnt bean taste. It’s as close to the flavor of the caffeinated espresso from Cafe Trieste in San Francisco as I’ve ever tasted. A favorite hangout during college in the 1960s. Several romances bloomed and died there. By the way, I now make coffee using a Jura espresso machine.

If you’ve chosen to stick with coffee and make it a decaf, there aren’t a lot of good options. This one is so good that I’d drink it even IF I weren’t trying to only drink decaf.

Sadly, I can't have much caffeine, but I love espresso. I was so happy to find decaf espresso that is both organic and water processed!

I’ve only found a couple of decaf espressos that taste (almost) as strong as full caf, and this is one of them. I think it might be my new favorite! I haven’t tried it alone, but I still get a strong flavor when made into a latte. Keep in mind that I don’t have a refined palate for coffee/espresso. I can merely tell the difference between a robustly flavored latte and a bland one.

My years long search for great decaf espresso has ended! I’m enjoying homemade cinnamon sugar lattes virtually every day and feeling like a queen. We use a stovetop moka pot and it comes out delicious every time.
